There was a free concert on Roy Thomson Hall yesterday (Oct. 19th). About 10 persons of  LINC class students participated in this program. This program was playing Organ by Dr. David Baskeyfield - a 31 years old British man. The concert started  at 12:00 PM . About 6-7 tracks was played in one hour. The lunch program was canceled before, so the students said good bye to each other and followed their own program for holiday lunch.

  1. Ms Julie Payette Attended primary and secondary school in Montreal, Quebec.
  2. She plays the piano and has sung with the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, the Piacere Vocale in Basel, Switzerland, and the Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra in Toronto. Ms. Payette is fluent in French and English, and can converse in Spanish, Italian, Russian and German.

Famous Canadian People





Laura Secord (13 September 1775 – 17 October 1868) was a Canadian heroine of the War of 1812. She is known for having walked 20 miles (32 km) out of American-occupied territory in 1813 to warn British forces of an impending American attack.

Alexander Young Jackson(October 3, 1882 – April 5, 1974) was a Canadian painter and a founding member of the Group of Seven. Jackson made a significant contribution to the development of art in Canada, and was successful in bringing together the artists of Montreal and Toronto.

Georges-Philéas Vanier (23 April 1888 – 5 March 1967) was a Canadian soldier and diplomat who served as Governor General of Canada, the 19th since Canadian Confederation.
