The Incident

The video is about a company in Manitoba. The supervisor asked one of the workers to make a machine safer, but he didn't do that. The next day, the worker that was working with this machine was absent, so the supervisor asked the workers if someone could work with this machine. Clera, who was worry about being fire out of her work and really needed to work in order to send money to her family in her back country, raised her hand and said she knows how to work with the mentioned machine. Her colleague, Nisha, tried to avoid her to do that because she had no experience and training in work with this machine. She must learn how to work with the machine instead of being worry about losing her job. Because the law has rights for workers in Canada. The workers have right to refuse in case of hazard or not enough proper training for working with machines. Finally, Clera started to work with the machine and she injured her hand. This video taught me that the law lets me to have specified rights to work with safety without being worry about fire out of my job.

Wednesday assignment

Our Wednesday English class is called off and all the students have called for set up their tasks at home. I decided to cut out the second task and get around it, by my wife encouraged me to go on.
She also asked me to inform her of my decision. The second task was writing a short story, and I had to figure out a way to do it. We need to go through the task by Wednesday 2:30.
I wrote a story of my son, but my wife didn't come around me. So I came up a new story and I thought to work on my task with her. Many ideas  came up to my mind during planning a story. Finally, I decided to write a story based on our task and the design process for this plan was exciting.
Fortunately, I could do it over last day before I get charge of absence.

Solid Waste Management

There are 5 different kinds of stuffs that we don't use anymore and throw them away:

1. Green bin: is used for organic wastes.
2. Blue bin: is used for recycle wastes.
3. Black bin: is used for garbage.
4. We have also some hazardous wastes, like corrosive, flammable, explosive, poisonous, that must be thrown away in some specified places. You should call 3-1-1 for asking a place near you.
5. If you have some electronic devices that might be broken, like computers, laptops, cameras, and stuff like that, then you should call 3-1-1.

Bachelor party

My brother's wedding party is on April 20th. So I'm going to planning a bachelor party for him. The trouble is, I am scheduled to be in Linc class at that time.I need to time off from Linc class or I would miss out the party.
I'm thinking about calling in sick that time, but I don't think it would be appreciated by my teacher. In the end, I decided just ask my teacher straight out and I hope he'll help me on this situation.
